I didn't pick up on this while watching but it's a great point. Will help Bran come to terms with the most honorable man in Westeros lying for years about his bastard son.

Tfw people care more about your dog than you.
I'd be twice as misty-eyed. *sob sob* She's just like Arya *sob sob*.
I'm waiting for the double-cross. It would just be so wrong if it didn't go down. The North remembers!
Oh I'll be misty-eyed for any potential Arya/Nymeria reunion.
And brooding. Lots of brooding.
In the books (I think AFfC) Brienne encounters a gravedigger that many readers believe is the Hound.
I'm assuming it's largely to bait Jon into coming to Winterfell. I'm with you in that I don't understand how the Stark bannermen are suddenly totally behind Ramsay, no questions asked. Yes he's dangerous, but it really goes against the books.
They both had the little ponytail. Close enough!
Weirdly gonna miss Ser Alliser. He was my preferred blatant prick on this show. Should've killed Ramsay instead.
I'm trying to twist the Waif asking Arya to tell her about the Hound into something. Desperate for Clegane Bowl.
Honest question, what significance does Howland have outside of confirming the events at the ToJ? I know he's a crannogman and Ned's truest ally etc. etc. but I don't see how this is relevant to any other major upcoming events in the books/show outside of speculation/more tinfoil theories.
Maybe we'll find out in the next flashback.
I'm 100% with you on death hardening Jon. I was half-expecting him to slice Olly's rope before he could die. Staring his dead face down instead paired with the "lol idgaf" towards being Lord Commander makes me think Jon's gonna be in full ronin mode (until he figures out his parentage, at least).
If I can put my tinfoil hat on for a minute, does anyone agree with the Howland = High Sparrow theory? Specifically pointing him out in the ToJ flashback makes me think he's going to have significance in the show later on, and better to have him hiding in plain sight instead of introducing a new character entirely.
Assuming we won't see Bran next week to further prolong the big L+R=J reveal, but that Tower of Joy flashback really was a nice big fat slice of Frey pie for book readers.
Zombie Mountain head smash brought the "lulz" though. But I did blurt out "WUN WUN" during the other smash, in awe.
I think it's speculated in the books that Euron hired a Faceless Man to kill Balon.
This. I was relieved that we didn't get the expected aftermath shot.
