Does anyone know what house said bannerman presenting a "gift" to Ramsay is from? He name-dropped the Manderlys last night and we know the former Stark bannerman aren't exactly eager to throw their support behind the Boltons. And now that he's killed Roose? Forget it.

I would agree but that exchange between Balon and Euron on the bridge has really gotten my hopes up. This Danish Pacey guy seems like he could be a total badass.

FREY PIES (in dreams, anyway).

It's funny that my non-book reading friends all magically forgot their asking me whether or not Jon was actually dead after last season's finale.

MORE MAX VON SYDOW.

So how do we think they're going to handle Jon suddenly being alive again? I know Thorne and his cronies are imprisoned, but it's not exactly going to be easy to explain. Also, do you think Jon will be any different?

I think it's possible considering he's been around Sansa at Winterfell for a fair amount of time. He's witnessed Ramsay do terrible things, but never to someone so close to him.

Taking Brothraki and running with it. VAES BROTHRAK.

Nah, they're all the same. The one who flashed boobs last season just grew her hair out a little.

If Sansa ended up back with Ramsay I would've rolled my eyes so goddamn hard.

I wouldn't say that's all the BwB were for, but that "chance" meeting of them with Melisandre? Totally to bring up the idea of resurrection via R'hollor.

Right, but Viserys was always the one who had the claim to the throne. Dany was initially a chess piece to get him there (marriage pact for army).

Honestly that's important to remember too. I forgot that a year's passed for us, but the episode is taking place immediately after the season 5 finale.

I think Varys and Ilyrio were initially betting on Viserys (not that he'd be a good ruler, but he'd be easy for them to manipulate if he rose to power).

I think it's easier to understand when you consider how much she invested in Stannis, believing him to be Azor Ahai reborn, and being completely wrong.

I was THRILLED that Jon was the first topic they addressed. I was half expecting them to wait until the end of the episode as if it hadn't been the biggest cliffhanger from last season.

I did too. Especially the nighttime sparring with Ilyn Payne.

I think that was more to do with a woman killing him, rather.

Yes, though I don't necessarily agree that he's loyal to Brienne (they're sufficiently split-up in the books at this point, but I think he respects her far more than Cersei). He's off mending relations in the Riverlands and training with Ilyn Payne at night to learn to fight with his left hand. And he's disgusted by

Arianne's nipples were apparently big enough to be hats.
