Oh jesus, making people wait that long to find out once and for all if he's truly dead is just cruel. Which means it's probably the case.

I like that Robert Strong just straight-up looked like Frankenmountain through his visor.

That's interesting! If anything, I thought they were just going for the North = Northern England type deal.

I was a little skeeved out by how readily she accepted that her uncle was her dad.

To be fair, the books ended on a pretty depressing note.

"Swaying the Crows" seems much easier said than done. You've got that one dead Crow who came back and tried to kill LC Mormont. You've got the fight at the Fist. Now you've got Hardhome. I get that Jon's not the greatest leader, but I also think he's dealing with some thick-skulled mofos.

I'd completely forgotten about the Pink Letter, so I thought Jon's stabbing was well done? Maybe not now?

Really happy they're bringing back the blind Arya plot. I thought they'd really rushed her plot line, so it's good to know that she's still in "training".

I walked right into this trap and thought they'd save the stabbing for next season. Once Jon popped back up towards the end of the episode, I was still pretty convinced they might. Then Olly showed up and I knew he was toast.

I kind of figured that's what Bloodraven was hinting at when he told Bran that he would fly. But it also just could've been ravens. Blech.

We also didn't have two episodes of Jorah getting back into Dany's good graces right before she was OK with him being killed.

I'm hoping we'll get some flashbacks next season via…Tree Bran. I think the same casting memo for season 6 that hinted at the Ironborn, also potentially hinted at some Stark backstory.

I don't think so, but you might argue that Jon's arrow preventing him from burning to death made the whole thing moot.

There are theories that L and R might have gotten wed in secret. Then again R was already married at the time, so who knows.

Well, let's think of what big events they'll cram in: Cersei's walk of shame, Jon's stabbing, and Sansa/Theon's escape from Winterfell. Maybe a bit of Stannis, and catching up with Dany as well. Probably Arya killing Trant too.

"It's an ancient victory dance celebrating the Drowned God."

I think it's canon at this point that the Sand Snakes were totally botched. Here's hoping the Ironborn don't get the same treatment next season. Seriously, imagine a season of just Victarion and Euron playing the "finger dance".

I think there were specifically shots of his soldiers looking surprised and aghast at burning Shireen for a reason.

The night is dark, and full of federalists.

Her cute haircut was the first thing I noticed when she came back this season.
