Oh I don't think he's actually dead/won't be brought back, but show-wise, I liked Jon a lot this season. His stabbing will be a bummer.

Seriously on the Jaime/Bronn bit. I was really pleased when they teamed them up. Totally wasted.

Next season (I hope).

Next season (we hope).

I hate to say it, but assuming Jon's, um, "moment", goes down next week, I'm gonna miss him! I know they trimmed quite a bit, but I think overall the show did a good job of making him semi-interesting once Stannis showed up at the Wall. Which was really when he was redeeming in the books, as far as I'm concerned.

Yes, but he IS the Master of Ships. AND the fetcher of quill and paper.

I'm not sure that Melisandre is evil so much as she is stupidly blinded by faith. The impression that I got, from the books at least, is that she really believes everything she's done serves the Lord of Light.

KING MOPE

"I will break the wheel." …. "I WILL MEND THE SPOKES."

Casting memos hint that Season 6 will finally see the Ironborn subplot, so Balon will probably live for another year.

If we could make Tywin a wight, I'd sit through a spin-off of just him and Olenna grimacing at whatever Mace does.

Really looking forward to Bronn magically appearing in Braavos for a sing-along with Mace Tyrell.

And the Blackfish (per the books, not sure if the show is assuming he's dead).

Barry Selmy. Ser Barry. Barry the Bold. Barry White-cloak.

Totally. Like, when a girl says she just wants to be friends. What the fuck does THAT mean, am I right?!

I was going to ask how they would get their hands on Ramsay. Then I remembered that they'll have Theon soon. Oh.

OK, I totally agree that while Sansa may feel more empowered, she's ultimately completely controlled by Littlefinger. However, she still feels more secure. Whether or not she's completely wrong about that is besides the point that she's grown much more confident since leaving King's Landing. I feel like this has been

I think Tyrion and Dany is a start, if only because she'll finally have someone to call her out on her naivete about her name entitling her to so much. I'd say give it time, but OOPS DROGON.

I'm going to politely disagree that having Sansa once again assume the position of the damsel in distress is an "improvement" character-wise. Do I understand streamlining for TV's sake? Sure. And putting her at Winterfell is loads more interesting than the neverending book-quest to get to the bottom of the Mountains

As great as this episode was, I don't think Sansagate should be swept under the carpet. If they made Jon interesting, they can give Sansa strength.
