I read somewhere that 'Ozymandias' was the finale, 'Granite State' and 'Felina'  were a two part epilogue, That works for me. Hank's death, Jesse's enslavement, Walt losing most of his money is the meat of a finale, but if that had been the finale we'd have all lost our minds. I think they stuck the ending, and stuck…

In Talking Bad, Vince Gilligan said it was a continuity thing. Walt wasn't wearing the watch in the 5A season opener at the Denny's and this scene, I believe, is shortly before he gets there.
