SOA did a shit job with their female characters.

He got that much right. For all his talk, every time Tara offered him a way to keep his sons out of the life, he went right to "I can make this right".

The ending montage was More of The Same….they could have done better.

What better option? Jax was ALWAYS looking for a woman to take care of them. That was never going to change.

How would things be better with fearless leader Jax around?

His father and his "legacy" played into it. JT just looked noble because he was dead.

Yes SOA overdid the montages, but I think they hit with this one. The lyrics are hard to hear and they are from way back in 1978. FWIW.

Agreed….SOA was never good at making its main characters consistently look like human beings.(Opie was a big exception.) IMO, one of the biggest flaws.

The manly hugs betwixt declared homophobes probably accounted for ALL the extended run times this season.

Jax was a CEO….they don't do things, they have people to do them. Too bad Jax didn't have a PR/Director of Bereavement to get this done.

Yes…SOA had ratings so FX gave the go ahead for more minutes of goo-goo-ga-ga fiiler. That would have been great with good writers and/or showrunners. On SOA, it was just a lot of BS.

I actually liked the opening montage, once it got going. As a Springsteen fan, I choked when the song started playiing….but it worked,
