I don't think I'd like the "Leonard iz jealouz" plot under any circumstances but what made it particularly noxious for me is that, like a few character issues on the show, they arise from almost nowhere- such as Leonard complaining that Penny gets hit on all the time, even when he's around- which we as the audience

Exactly.  I can buy them as a couple- I can't buy the continued bad-sitcom hoops that they have to jump through to stay the hand of vicious Elder Gods that will break through the thin curtain between our worlds unless at least one show has episodes where a guy ruins a relationship by being an insecure jealous jackass

Oh it doesn't matter what her intentions or motives were- in that moment, its just icy truth to Garak and as @avclub-dbdec92c1a47832b13fc9f11e75ca600:disqus beautifully states, it has the desired effect. Its a tremendous character moment— everything you need to know about the Founders right then and there.  Lying?

Oh I understand… In fact… I think I can live with it.  And if  I had to watch it all over again- I would.  So I will learn to live with it… Because I can live with it… I can live with it… Computer- erase that entire personal log.

As others have pointed out, it was a prototype, not yet set for dealing with multiple changelings all at once (and why bother when you have it in your head that you are going to destroy 99.9% of them on their homeworld), and even then, its a close-proximity weapon that takes time to have effect and does nothing about

This. Right here.  Because it was "World's Finest" where I first saw the re-designs (loved Batman hated Joker but got used to it reeeeal quick given the level of storytelling at work) and it was here that the gateway was thrown wide open to the DC shared universe (remember Bats didn't have any other superheroes in his

Know why I hate "Looking Glass"?  Because now its pushed the review of "The Die is Cast", to Thursday next week and I I have to wait for it rather than enjoying the sumptuous feast of the review of the entire two-parter here and now.  Some of the very best performances Robinson and Auberjonois have ever given on the

I completely get that. My problem is, they haven't done anything via Leonard to illustrate that he does think of her that way (do you remember any ep where he's done something specifically for "Penny" rather than his "Hot Girlfriend"?- "I love you" doesn't count)- I can't see him acting any differently with any other

Mayer captures the large space of a child's room late at night and there being something just waiting behind a cracked door really well… then he does what King does and shows you what's waiting.  As an adult, its about a scary as a kitten.  As a kid, they are large, looming horrors and even after the kid has
