Vorta casting was awesome.  First appearance aside they always managed to find just the right blend of sneering, snide coldness mixed with the ability to be a complete and utter sycophant whenever a changeling walked into the room.  And of course… Weyoun.  One of my favorite Trek characters ever.

You know what, I agree.  That never sat well with me because it is a waste of Odo's character and proclivity for mystery solving, which could have been the overwhelming instinct he needed to follow, even to his own detriment. In defense however, Odo's genetic thrall to the Changelings will get far better exploration

Plus every time the thing fires on another ship its like the 4th of July on my tv- I fucking love quantum torpedoes.

I can't recall my reaction back in the day but… I have to say I don't believe I was too surprised, given the symmetrical nature of introducing both the Dominion and  Odo's people in the same episode- there just had to be a tie.  I do remember being underwhelmed by the overall "action" part of the story and much more

As a kid that's one of the few episodes of "Superfriends" that went far enough to get me worried about my heroes- because they do a pretty good job of showing that against an evil Superman, the Superfriends would be pretty helpless- I really thought Batman and Robin were going to get killed.

Actually he'll go one further in "Flash and Substance"- to Bruce, Flash is the hero he wishes he could be- he's the hero he and his parent would go to see a movie about.  But what makes this series so damn good is that he never has to outright say it to get that point across.  I fucking love this show.

It makes no sense to me.  Maybe they are trying to create an Avengers with a shared universe to Ultimate Spidey and I suppose there's a logic to that (though I'm not even sure that's the case), but I don't understand why the two present shows can't continue to share orbit with each other.  I really don't comprehend

I enjoyed that scene for Batman (the "real" one) making Wally realize it was his turn to be the escape artist.  "I think he likes you".

This season is a march through Awesome.  I was particuarly impressed with "Assault on 42"- the episode manages to create an atmosphere of tension, claustrophobia and fear which is decidedly difficult for any cartoon much less a superhero one, much less an episode of "Avengers".  Ironically, the thing that makes the

Which instantly pops this episode up one letter grade.  Because funny as satire is, its even funnier when two people take 30 minutes of an entire cable show to redress a petty grudge- that's magnificent.  It isn't evolved, it isn't thought-provoking, it undercuts any message they might be trying to get out there

Adding to Jordo's quite poignant explanation is the fact that he's ready to kill Mongol for what he's done when those statues bring back all he's been given, experienced and learned not just in the Black Mercy's grip in the real world- how hard he's striven not just to be The Last Kryptonian but the best human being
