I guess I get where you're coming from but it's just so obvious that the job of "public face of the company" is in a very different category. I'm certain that that's true in their contract but even abstractly they'd be dumb to pay him to make them look bad.

I really did like her when she was on SNL but Schneider was way better than Chris Kattan too, and not any worse than Sandberg in sketches. The Hot Chick is probably the best of his movies, but then I'm a sucker for switch movies. I think he would have had a slightly better movie career if he didn't get hooked up with

I thought it was decent for a sitcom pilot, it could still go either way and I hope Anderson does a lot less voiceover and uses less of the squeeky range of his voice. But the thing that stood out for me was Tracee Ellis Ross, I'd seen Girlfriends a couple times without it making much of an impression but she was

I saw part of that and I believe it's good, I thought he was impressive when I first saw him in Minority Report but then he followed up with The Recruit and Daredevil, plus his off-screen persona, he's got some baggage.

It's just that with the response to the first season you'd expect them to go for either bigger stars or better/more interesting actors so it's hard to understand. Although maybe the best explanation is that these guys are perfect for the parts.

You might want to watch it just to get some insight into your weirdo male friends. While I don't share your feelings, I find them a little easier to relate to than your friends', this was a beautifully shot and acted show that was an interesting take on cop shows but if you weren't watching it live it will struggle to

I mean, the first two were sort of the same kind of guy, albeit with a few more decent films under their belts, so they seem to have a knack for rehabilitating douchey actors but they've set themselves quite a challenge here. I never liked Farrell and Vaughn wore out his welcome with a zillion generic comedies but I'm

I think I might be alone on this but I think that while The Break-Up didn't really work, it got close enough that you could sort of see the good movie it wanted to be.

I don't know, I really did like it better with the graffiti and the PCP dealers. Of course I didn't actually live here then but I liked the places I did live better too in the days before sleaze disappeared and chain stores took over.

I disagree. If your takeaway from this (including what's happening right now) isn't that white dudes kind of suck I don't know where you're coming from. And obviously the only people who were offended were racist assholes, I never thought she was talking about me.

I can't imagine why she would have any hostile feelings when white dudes have been so polite and downright chivalrous in expressing their differences of opinion.

I don't understand how anyone manages to watch The Good Wife anyway, last night the Tivo listed it at 9:30, before Madame Secretary, and it started at the normal time of 10:00, which was itself unusual but gave me the normal result of only recording the first half. if it weren't for alternate channels I'd never see

I would be delighted if they shipped Felicity over to The Flash, she seems like a better fit for a much lighter show. I don't see it happening but I'm 99% certain that Olicity is going to ruin (my enjoyment of) the show.

And when this mess gets cleaned up there will still be plenty of regular commenters eager to explain how Sonia really is the real racist. Good to have have this guy to demonstrate what's a millimeter below the surface with all these dudes.

I didn't read his piece but I read your rant in response to it (I'm now assuming) from a few days ago, and based on that I have to agree with him. Which is obviously not very well-founded but I'm just so sick of all this sci fi and superhero bullshit.

I don't think that's at all ludicrous, if you're going to film a musical, the singing should be up to the highest standard or your musical sucks, period.

I'm in the first group and the only problem I have with that is that to me, New Year's Day is almost completely interchangeable with Gloria, I Will Follow, Sunday Bloody Sunday, and Pride (In the Name of Love). I don't think I've ever sat down and listened to a whole album of theirs and I don't like their post-Joshua

I like all the stuff he wrote with Owen Wilson, I think it's weird that he hasn't written anything else. I guess his role was just to keep Anderson somewhat grounded.

After years of being told I had to watch Buffy I watched a few episodes from that list (or some list of the ten best episodes) and yeah, definitely not for me. I can see forgiving the terrible acting because it's a WB show but I find his dialogue really grating.

I've heard good things but I couldn't make it through season three. Still season one is on another level, for me it's up with Freaks and Geeks as one of the very best network seasons. A lot of that is probably due to my being a big 90210 fan, The O.C. is like 90210 if it was good.
