I don't think he felt like he'd be putting his family in (any additional) danger because he thought they'd all be vanished. Gus said that Jessie wouldn't let him kill Walt "for now." This is all Walt needed to hear before deciding to GTFO. When Gus went on to warn him against tipping Hank off, that just solidified his

You've got a good point, too. I totally get what you're saying and I don't buy the Walt-did-it theory. It leaves WAY too much to chance, especially since Walt thinks his time is so limited. The only thing I'd buy is that Walt used some kind of substance that would make the kid sick but not kill him, but even that

You aren't remembering wrong. He said IF you interfere, I'm going to kill your family. But Walt decided he needed to flee because Gus is going to kill him either way. He goes into Saul's office, mentions needing to collect his family and disappear, and only afterward does he say "I need you to do one more thing for

You are so right! The writers were so busy crafting the in-your-face, action-packed episodes that entirely make up Season 3 that they didn't even leave room for any character development!

At first I really liked this point, but Walt didn't actually risk his life to protect Hank. He told Saul to report it after he thought he was going to be vanished. By the time he realized that he wasn't going to vanish, it was too late to stop Saul.

The glasses thing is very smart.

Face facts you guys: Ted poisoned Brock.

You know how we know that Walter wasn't lying when he said he didn't poison Brock? He didn't talk about all the reasons he didn't poison Brock for 20 minutes.

He was using Gander Mountain-quality binoculars, had his glasses on his head and he carried the bomb in a floral purse. Didn't seem all that badass to me.

Psh. I almost failed high-school chemistry, but now I'm going to blow up someone's car just to prove how easy it is.

This reminds me of the time I was late for school two days in a row and my mom called it a "pattern of destructive behavior." I'm sort of glad she died.

Not to quibble, but there's no evidence that calling Hank & saying Marie was in an accident was Walter's idea. He could've just called Saul and asked for help.

Good thinking.

Walt. Jr also flipped off the camera when he gave Walter a hug in the doctor's office early this season. What could this mean?

Also, ricin takes days. That was the whole point of using it.

Marie drives a Bug. Skyler drives a station wagon. Boom, roasted.

So Walt Jr. is definitely going to die, right?

I'd sooner believe that he's the son of someone dangerous than dangerous himself. Especially since he had that reputation/protection at a young age.

I'm thinking that the distribution center and the laundrolab are two different places. When Walter and Jessie finish a cook, all the meth is put into a few big containers and loaded up. It makes more sense that they would take it to a second location to distribute into the Pollos shipments. It wouldn't make a ton of

I've thought for the past season or so that Walt Jr. is toast. That little speech to him in the preview makes me believe this even moreso.
