I do wonder about Pete's play here. In retrospect, he should clearly have seen that Lisa was right about targeting Malcolm, considering he did have an immunity idol. With a bit more finesse, they really could have knocked a big threat out of the game and secured an easy run to the finals. Instead, he lets Abi mouth

My wife doesn't watch this with me, but I constantly call her into the room to share great moments like Penner's speech to Lisa last night about being a people pleaser. I had the show paused and had set up the scenario for her before hitting play. She looked at Penner and asked, "Is he the one who sounds like Alan

My wife and I play Wizard 101, an online RPG for kids, that uses spell decks of cards for combat. One of the car classes boosts the damage of any attack card, and it has a picture of a giant fist on it.

The Australian sketch went on a bit too long… the train scene could have been cut without hurting the rest of the sketch at all. But I loved the split between the over-serious presenter and the tactless, artless approach of the actual scenes.

Even for a last-sketch-of-the-night, this one struck me as really strong. Sure, it was odd, but it could have run earlier in the night without hurting the rhythm of things. The cross-talking and desperation were incredible.

I recorded the show Saturday and watched Sunday morning… here in OHIO. No kidding, every single ad during the show was political. Many local, lots of anti-Obama PAC ads, several Obama candidate ads, some union-funded anti-Romney stuff. It was almost like a parody of political oversaturation.

Is it worth the extra bucks to see it in 3D. I'm taking my daughter to a matinee tomorrow. When we saw the preview for this before Brave, I couldn't tell who was more excited to see Wreck-It Ralph, me or her.

While I get a lot of the criticisms that the show is offering tired old gays-are-ok-people messages, I'm cutting this episode a lot more slack.

That was my initial reaction when they pulled a ring pop out. But when they showed the scene, it worked because Hope was supervised the entire time… sitting on the laps of the friends. If they'd locked her in a room with the ring pop, I wouldn't have been able to suspend disbelief long enough to enjoy the jokes.

Easily the best job in working in the wait, it will come to me line.
Having the dialog set that up a few times before getting the full payoff really worked.
