I felt a twinge of sadness on this rewatch seeing Richard Biggs say a line about how death is unfair.

I could easily be wrong, but I'd think a the commander of an aircraft carrier who came up through the ranks as a pilot would definitely need or at least want to keep flying certification.  If nothing else, to make sure the other pilots know "the old man's still got it."

Great point.  There are so many scenes in TV shows that need to continue after the meaningful look that leads to commercial.  Or just have the characters finish the damn conversation before leaving the room.

Paul Winfield and Neroon are both awesome, so this week had good guest stars.  Much better than the overacting bad guys of the week from season one.

Today in trivia everyone probably already knows: The Strieb are named after author Whitley Strieber, one of many times JMS named characters or races after someone as an homage.  Bester is the least subtle, because, as has been said, SUBTLETY IS FOR THE WEAK.
