My favorite part of that bit is how Carla's reaction goes from "why come to a bar for tea?" to "come on, make up your minds already" to "these are my kind of broads."

Well did he ever return
no, he never returned
and his fate is still unlearned

Cool, I'm going to see this on a big screen on Friday.  I'll report back.  Try to contain your excitement.

Completely agree with you and with the poster above who mentioned Nintendo levels.  Reloaded felt like a video game: the Oracle is the NPC giving you tasks (talk to the Merovingian, get the Keymaker), and the story is just there to move from fight scene to fight scene.

It's a real shame that Mad Season only recorded one album, but what an album it is. What is the panel's opinion on Brad?

The fact that Whedon made a self-deprecating comment about being hypocritical doesn't shield him from others pointing out his hypocrisy.

And then, after spending all that time building up the Kirkland team as a bunch of friends from a blue-collar town going up against the big bad impersonal Taiwan machine, we see

I definitely saw this. In the theater, no less. I, unlike time, have not forgotten it.

Nothing can top Donald Southerland's hippy tank commander in Kelley's Heroes. Stop it with those negative waves, man.

I'll pile on as one who really liked this episode (I also dig Todd's reviews and won't bash him over a difference of opinion on this one). It just seemed really packed with plot, from the overall arc to the case-of-the-week. Jon Seda rocked, and the complication of the real hitman #2 showing up was expected but
