Kimstaff: "I guess that's what guys are into?"

@Will: You didn't think S1's Harold should've won?
Also, while I thought Blais had the edge on Stephanie's skills, I don't think he was so far above her that I felt cheated when she won. He screwed the pooch, and she managed to stay true to (good) form.

Robin and Michael were locking horns, as Michael started moving in to help her, which she did not appreciate. Whether he was head chef or not, Bryan did exactly what a head chef ought to, basically yelling at both the separate and get to plating what they needed to. Even if he's in charge and they lose, he might be

I felt Ash was going home when he changed up his game plan to something that Mike suggested. And I KNEW he was heading home when he admitted as much to the judges. He's s follower right now, and a chef is a leader. I liked him, but he had to go.

Season 1 was Harold and Tiffani in the finals (with Dave in 3rd). Tiffani was a bad egg, but the others were OK.

Over.

OK, neither Preeti nor Lauren threw each other under the bus, but that also means that one of them failed to fess up and admit that they were the one who suggested pasta salad. I think I get Tom's frustration; he asked a straight question, and whoever it was, failed to take responsibility, which is the first step in

Thees is Top Chef, no' Top Bacon!

Maybe in the minority, but not alone; I'm a sucker for a cello.

HERE BE SPOILERS! YAR!

+1 to Hipster's comment. I was really concerned about Spike coming on to Angel (which I felt was way superior to Buffy by then), but somehow the show managed to make him kind of cool again.

Jupiter
Did anyone notice how Boomer and Hera, en route back to Cavil, jumped next to a planet that looked suspiciously like Jupiter? The planet had the bands, at least two moons (one of which looked like Europa) and was in the vicinity of a yellow star.

I think that after those two times (Six & Baltar; Sharon & Helo) in season one, they nixed the whole "glowy spine" thing, because they realized that it would mean that Baltar would have a fully functional Cylon detector.

It's the monoliths…

I was initially put off by the Ballard sub-plot, because he was just that same old FBI agent, and everything was so tangental to the main story arc. But for some reason, I've gradually either warmed to the character or am prepared to be patient as he's brought into the fold. I think it might be holdover affection

The main reason that I don't think Boomer *planned* screwing Helo is the obvious aversion/reluctance she shows when he starts getting kissy with her, and the fact that there didn't seem to be any way for her to anticipate him coming there. But then again, once it was happening, I absolutely don't put it past Boomer

Boomer Gone Bad
Now I liked the fact that Boomer's come out as a dyed-in-the-wool antagonist, because it's the last outfit we really saw her in, in the middle of season 3, when she was about to break baby Hera's neck. We've really seen precious little of Boomer for a while back, but the glimpses we saw led me to see

I can't see them bringing back Toby.

From what I remember…
While Stefan did seem the odds-on favorite from the word "go," he also had stretches where he seemed more bluster than muster. Plus that implosion at the end.

I also thought for a while that Stefan was all bluster and no muster, but lately, he seems to be a pretty darn good chef. I'm not sure I'd put him up there with Harold and Hung, but Ilan probably.
