Ooh, I saw Course: Oblivion! It's the only Voyager episode I really remember liking.

Holy shit, I had no idea Fuller was involved with Voyager. Huh.

You have a point, no doubt about it. And I was thinking, as I wrote earlier, that Orange's female, largely minority ensemble WAS a very commendable thing. I'd argue against your final phrasing—I may agree that Hannibal treads on explored territory, but not that it, in itself, IS well-worn. But that's quibbling.

If you have the chance to go to the Byzantine church of San Vitale in Ravenna (or if you can't go there, see pictures), you can see above the famous mosaics of Emperor Justinian and Theodora both an early, smooth-cheeked Jesus, as well as a later, bearded one. It's pretty neat. And awe-inspiring too, of course.

Am I alone in preferring Hannibal to Orange? Don't get me wrong, I love them both, and they're like apples and oranges to compare, but I was watching both more or less at the same time, and I never really anticipated watching the next OitNB the way I did the next serving of Hannibal Lecter.

Shut up Whoovian! I heard about your prescription socks.

No. The last thing the show needs is more Chang.

I loved Breaker Morant.

Wow, fundamental misunderstanding of your user-base here, guys. I know all the old features like "my shows" are supposed to come back eventually, but those are the types of features that most/nearly all of us old-timers consider *essential*.

Yeah, I'm a Michigan alumnus, and before anything else, Ohio State can suck it.
But this was a pretty fun half-time show. Maybe that's why they beat us at football nearly half the time!

Yeah if @groganz said "on TV today," I'd agree. But The Wire, and maybe Deadwood stand out.

Keep writing these. I don't have the time for an FNL rewatch right now, but it's nice to read about someone else experiencing the show.

No.  But we are a secretive breed, hiding from the outside world, lest we be hunted down and slaughtered by Spuffy shippers.

Who?

Two points in response:

I was lucky enough to see him at the Stratford Festival in Canada a few years back, playing Julius Caesar in Shaw's "Caesar and Cleopatra."  She (Nikki James, I think) was great but Plummer was just a revelation.  I once got to see Patrick Stewart as Prospero, which you'd think would be the greatest stage performance

Holy moly.  The top five comments are all decrying the reviewer's apathy about her subject matter.
One of the reasons I look forward to Top Chef season is that I look forward to another season with the AV community, including an invested reviewer/recapper.  I'm hoping that this was just a case of Sonia being thrown

I disagree.  From the beginning, practically, I dreaded Kate episodes.  She was such an obvious attempt by the writers to make someone with a "mysterious, intriguing" backstory, but they failed to make her compelling in any way, and her motivations and personality were inconsistent too.  I didn't mind Jack, but I had

Yeah, at the end of the day, it was still a season of Community.  Barely, it sometimes seemed, but it was.  The writing was spotty as hell, and the tone was often too, but the cast (less Chevy) at least was game, and giving their all under difficult circumstances.

And it was advanced!
