Why now though? Why not pull the show when Rocket has a credited appearance rather than one where the African-American character cowering in the corner isn't explicitly named Virgil Hawkins or even explicitly uses his signature powers?

I really never heard of the Milestone thing, and it doesn't make sense. The first episode off hiatus was Rocket's first speaking lines of the season, and this episode featured a small, unnamed and unvoiced cameo by Virgil Hawkins, who didn't display any powers.

Shame CN had to delay the best episode of the season, regardless of the reason. I hadn't heard anything about the Milestone licensing issues before this, but hopefully it's back in January. Hopefully they get a season 3 too, but I'm only saying that because I want generation 3 of the team that features Damien and…

I think this is more of a flaw for Dick. In season one, he said that he wasn't dedicated enough to immerse himself in crime-fighting and distance himself from other people the way Batman does. Instead, he sought to find a way to continue fighting crime while maintaining the interpersonal relationships that Bruce often…

That little bit about Beast Boy got me a little misty. When talking about how this episode gave some focus to the new characters, that was a great bit that took all of five seconds to show BB clinging to the memory of his mom.

Agreed, but come to think of it, I think this is the first week Sava didn't request some random team-up based on characters in the episode.

I would like him more if his angry phrase wasn't "Neptune's Beard."

Arrowette appeared in one episode of last season, when Artemis and Green Arrow saved her dad from being assassinated by Black Spider. Cissie was 9 in that episode (Insecurity?), so she'd be 14 right now and perfect team age!

The baby's dad was a random douchebag. Tim helped her by taking her to Lamaze classes and being there when the baby was born.

They don't need to be the Wonder Twins. I'd just settle for Wendy AKA Proxy. Come on Stephanie Brown!!
