Going with Todd's problems with the white perspective, I really can't believe that they've completely forgotten the fact that Victor is bilingual, and that maybe getting him some Spanish language books might be helpful. I would assume that Spanish was the language he spoke at home and English at school, so forcing

Can we also take a moment to appreciate how many times Gimple said "theme" and "character" during Talking Dead.  Music to my ears!

Everybody Hates on Vincent Martella

I don't know about Harry Potter, but Phineas is definitely dead.

You can't think of another show with as many strong female leads?  Orange is the New Black?

Such a great little joke!

Yeah, usually there's a stage somewhere else.

I don't think enough credit was given to the writers for the 2 week time jump.  If that was last season, we would have gotten at least an episode of crappy dialogue about Deacon and/or Scarlett deciding what to do.  Instead, they show us that Deacon took the fall and that Scarlett said no instead of having wasting

It seemed like an alcohol thing to me, like drunk driving or drinking herself to death.

Yeah, it's covered, but the episode where Kal Penn points out the interdependence in the group would have been great for this too.

According to the credits, they did recast Rocket.

That was Kip Moore, who they wanted us to treat like a superstar even though this first album just came out last year.  He has been writing in Nashville since 2004 though, which is probably how they fictionally know each other.

Someone called Nightwing Dick! Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the first time one of the original team called him Dick in the show, other than Wally. The only other time this season was in Imp's "spoilers." Again, a continuation of the great motif I wish they would have had time to address.

I think it's better that the show not make a big deal about it. For a show that tells it's audience everything, it's nice to have an understated fact like, this world is so fucked up that a child packing heat is commonplace.

Nope, he was in costume during that scene.

GL:TAS airing an episode featuring the Star Sapphires around Valentine's Day was beyond coincidental.  I appreciated what this episode was trying to do, in that it both established Aya as being a more dangerous villain than Attrocitous, which is generally par for the course when introducing a new "Big Bad" on a

While I also hope that next week brings Wally back into the fold, I disagree that Dick hasn't done anything.  He orchestrated the whole shitshow covert mission that led to this episode, and the fact that he is only operating as Nightwing has been quietly lurking under the surface this entire season. Seriously, we

I thought that for a minute, but it would be really hokey. And unrealistic, since the last episode made it pretty clear that the Reach is controlling him.
