Great take. It was embarrassing. By far the worst of the Mulder/Scully mythology story lines…and it goes on for THREE episodes. It's always amazing to me how the standalone a becomes soooo much stronger than the mythology as the show matured.

Also, not EVERYTHING needs compared to Louis CK. I like him as much as the next guy, but Jesus Christ, calm the fuck down.

Yea, I was praying it wouldn't be a tasteless Tuscon shooting gad…but then I remembered this isn't Family Guy.

Yes, compare this episode to Family Guys "Mother Tucker" and the quality difference is astounding.

Was it me, or did they crank the lighting on this episode? I mean, look at the picture, the contrast hurts my eyes.

Agreed, I'm glad they tone Mulder down in LG episodes…really highlights the Scully love/hate relationship with the LG.

Great episode. I know they eventually got a spinoff, but give Carter & Co. credit for not overplaying the Lone Gunmen. Every episode they did felt special and fun in its own unique way.
