Did you mean to say she was fired, SH? Because that's the only way your post makes sense. Going back to the switchboard is the demotion.

And drinks.
In all seriousness, what kind of salary adjustment would you be willing to make if you worked in a place with booze prominently displayed and available in every office and meeting room? Roger Sterling could pretty much have his way with me if I was promised a bottle of Johnny Walker (it could even be Red)…
Demoted or fired?
I know Don tells Lois to stick to the switchboard, but I had thought it was a way of saying, "Don't try to do this job at the next place you land." Demoting her after she's been Draper's personal secretary seems like a bad idea.

No thanks.
You lost me at "Garafolo."

My Cable TV Childhood
I remember watching Fortress several times when it first appeared on pay cable. I absolutely loved it. I saw it a few years ago and was shocked by how well it holds up.
Respek
Seriously, Errol Morris is a major reason I went to film school (and later law school). I admire him as much as any person on this earth. We're lucky to have his brilliant films (and commercials).
Awesome!
This will be the best thing since the lead singer of the Palace Brothers went solo.
All he does
is catch touchdowns.
