Good points. In the same vein, people are so up in arms about the way Adam and Kristina are dealing with Max and how wrong it is, and it IS; but is it not also, very likely, exactly what plenty of real people would do?

Or…witnesses spotted him outside the house at the time of the murder, banging on all the windows and doors, screaming, and he ends up getting the whole thing pinned on him…
