Maybe it's because I didn't see these episodes when they aired originally, but when I watched through TNG I found the Best of Both Worlds to be pretty underwhelming. I can see why people freaked out about it at the time though.

A Fistful of Datas was way worse than that one. The acting was so bad I couldn't even make it through the whole episode, and I have forced myself to watch some terrible science fiction without complaint.
