Anyone who honestly claims that Florida is the worst state has never actually been to any other state in the south or Midwest, most of which are completely terrible.

That's honestly what makes me so mad at her, Piper seems like the kind of person who would normally encourage all of the inmates to organize, until it effects her directly and she starts saying "fuck you, got mine".

That scene was gross and nearly derailed his character completely. He's lucky that he still has admirable qualities and he's contrasted with Healy who makes him look much better by comparison.

Alex was complaining about the "system" to Berdie in their therapy session, so I do think that she considers herself at least somewhat class conscious (she's a gigantic hypocrite in many other areas, but so are the majority of the characters in this show).

I like Julia Stiles, but she was really wasted in these movies. I can't begrudge her for taking the paycheck to be in this new movie though.

As a counselor and MSW, I'm glad the show continues to call out Healy for being the world's worst therapist. In a just world he wouldn't still have a job.

Even if it were about mental illness:
1) People with mental illness are actually much more likely to be the victims of violence than the general population
2) If politicians actually gave a crap about mental illness they wouldn't continually cut funding for mental health services

Right, when the countries we can be compared favorably to are undergoing active civil wars or ruled by dictatorships, that isn't exactly something to be proud of.

Agreed, everything about that movie was ridiculous.

I would hope anyone would be disgusted to be associated with David Duke regardless of their politics.

The most perplexing to me is still Paul Ryan's love of Rage Against the Machine. With Springsteen and CCR I get how you could miss the satire in their songs if you were an idiot, but there's no way any of RATM could be seen as non-political (at the opposite extreme from his policies).

Be careful what you wish for, they might make a sequel to Chrono Cross where the plot makes even less sense
