I didn't buy a lot of music this year for various reasons, but I did really enjoy First Aid Kit's "Stay Gold" and Leonard Cohen's "Popular Problems".

Because Cohen's album was actually good, and thus beyond the ability of a Rolling Stone critic to comprehend.
