Related question - When are the remaining movies going to be covered (if at all)?  I understand they were aired close to the end of the show's run.

Oh, I understood the mechanics of "Landing is gonna suck".  It's applying concepts like "falling" and "down" to that scenario that make my head hurt.  It's a delightfully weird kind of mortal peril.

Nothing really profound, but:

I like how all the frames around yours appear to be empty.

The geography of the ship in that shot, and the logistics of falling there, blew my mind at the time.  I understood the basic concept of the layout, but the fundamental weirdness of it never really hit me until that scene.

I always assumed it was just Londo who saw nothing, but I thought of a new interpretation while watching this time.

As someone who's been following and watching/rewatching 2 of the 3, yeah, it can be overwhelming.  I'd been thinking about diving into DS9 to, but had to draw the line.

Even the "failure to cast" complaint seems a little weak to me.  I mean, I agree, there's no reason not to, and I'd be fine with it (or a female doctor).  But OldWho, and the first 8 doctors, came from an era when that was a problem with all BBC shows, they were hardly the exception.

Perry also seemed to get the lead half the romcoms for a stretch in the late 90's or so.  Not exactly 'success' in terms of critical acclaim or sustainable star-power, but it certainly extended his profile and bank-account outside of the show.

Blood family? No.

Not really tied to this specific episode, but the final scene with Sheridan and the Rangers made me think of it:

Yeah, that's sorta where I'm at on pairing Draal and the Narn curb-stomping.  Both are good to great segments, but they don't quite fit together in one episode.

I'll be even happier if they get this attention in the Emmy nominations.  Right or wrong, that'll get more attention (and new viewers) the Critics Choice nods.

Seconded, and I'll add it's been a great way to be introduced to the series as a newcomer.

Thank you, I was going nuts trying to place that voice.

There was one (but only one) interaction which felt forced, Chianna + D'Argo.  While she's awfully new to be considered part of the family, she has at least interacted a lot with her other two goodbye pairings, Crichton and Rygel.  But I can't remember her ever speaking on D'Argo, one on one..

Crais in the chair, and immediately afterward, seemed like an emotional fever breaking.  In these last two eps (especially his scene with Crichton in Moya-jail), he's seemed utterly broken down, but in a position to start actively reassembling himself.

I think the extra time from the original air date makes a difference.  While 'Drafa is punishment from God' may have seemed a little obvious at the time, we've gained a lot more collective sanity wrt AIDS in the last 15-20 years.
