Now all they need to do is release Princess Mononoke on Blu-Ray, so it can make my eyes piss tears over its beauty.

I loved it, but it is Miyazaki so of course I would. I hate to use this phrase but it was "a nice little film". It didn't do anything all that big or grand, it didn't feel truly majestic like Miyazaki's other works, but everything about it clicked. And I agree with you that it sure was one very fun movie. It is very…
Yay, a mention of Cagliostro! Gotta love the Lupin. I also agree with you that Mononoke is getting shorted in the thread. I think it is his most visually stunning film, and that certainly is saying something. The time period of the movie is just downright perfect for his art style. I also like epics, and it certainly…
You've just made a huge mistake.
Star Wars obviously….. only difference between me and a lot of others is that I'm a 90's kid. The original trilogy on VHS is actually the first birthday gift I remember getting.
Like I said, I was never all that emotionally invested into Ted/Robin. I actually like the pairing, and it was Teds best relationship on the show, it was just hard to truly care when you know how it would end. Which is also the same way I felt about Marshall and Lily in come on. The split was surprising, but…
Well, the tricky part about picking single episodes against each other is that the Funniest ones will win out, and I can see why you would prefer HIMYM over New Girl due to individual episodes. New Girl doesn't have as great episodes like Slap Bet(my personal choices would also include: Game Night, Showdown, Moving…
Yeah, of course at the time he didn't seem like a man of peace. How he was shown earlier though, I can understand him feeling like he had to go there, rather than him just being some nutjob. Also, like I said, Danny was justified in shooting him, he was not putting the gun down even when he was warned multiple times…
I would actually say that New Girl right now is better than HIMYM at its best. And I am a HUGE fan of the early seasons. Then again I also openly loathe HIMYM at this point, and quit watching it at the beginning of this season. So maybe my contempt for what it is now is hurting my opinion of what it was.
I don't think Brandon is implying that Danny is outright racist or did anything to truly provoke the situation. Like with a lot of things so far in the show, it isn't shades of black and white, but gray.
I have to agree. While I think it was a good episode, it just didn't seem big like the last two season enders did. It set up change, but not in a way that packed a punch like season 3 did with being around this big funeral, or feeling Leslies utter emotional exhaustion/triumph from the election.

Awful people can be funny, when they are doing awfully hilarious things.
Dutch is easily the most relatable of the characters, and it is why he is my favorite right now! And surprisingly for me, no one is even close to Dutch for my favorite right now. Claudette, Lem, or Mackey is probably second.
I'm not at that point in The Shield yet, but my pantheon seasons of television would be:
As a wise man once asked: Is you taking notes on a criminal fucking conspiracy? I had high hopes for you T.O., but you lasted no longer than the drugged up power ranger.
Michael saying goodbye to Dukie and Bug is my favorite "goodbye" from that show, and by favorite I of course mean making me cry for like half an hour.
Hope this continues to get coverage and soon rather than having to wait a while for the next season!
Yes. Season 3 is by far the weakest, but it is worth it. The main warning I give you is that in terms of quality it is really inconsistent, it went from good to crap to good to crap, on a week to week basis. Also, you probably know this already, but the 3rd season isn't a season long mystery. It was supposed to be…
I liked Piz as much as you could like Piz I suppose. He was a nice likeable guy, he just didn't have much of a plot around him other than him being a well adjusted boyfriend for Veronica, which of course doesn't cause any complications and does make it seem dull. As purely on a boyfriend level, and not a tv boyfriend…
