Oh, I'm not expecting them to match it at all. There is no way that this will be that good, but the fact that they can bring up feelings I had when watching Mononoke is a strong plus. And while it has strong Mononoke influences, I have faith they will do their own thing with it.

TLA had the advantage with actually having a full season of 20 episodes. Korra gets only 12, and is trying to pack in a seemingly huge story. The first season was rushed at times, so hopefully the 40 episodes that were ordered are going to be like TLA, just one big story told in different parts.

I really liked the episodes tonight. I actually liked Mako in this one, mostly because of the already mentioned uncoolness as a character trait, and he wasn't a dick. Korra however…. not so much. Feels like she took a step back in characterization. She was much more whiney, and seems to have learned nothing from her

NO! I'm a MAN! I don… I …. I am, are you happy now!?

I tried at your behest, and the episode that was up next was "The Visitor". WHY DID YOU MAKE ME DO THIS!?

Yes! Yes it is!

My picks would be more recent(but off the air shows):

I have for one of them: Fringe. I had always been interested in the show, and the tv club 10 gave me an excuse to finally pick it up, and now I'm just waiting on the 5th season to be added to Netflix instant. For the rest though I haven't but got interested in the shows.

Ehh, the comparison of Jerry to Andre doesn't fully work. Jerry is an all around nice guy who is just a klutz. Andre is a total tool. When the guys were joking about Pete/Kevin/Jenny at poolside having a jerk session, would Jerry really go so far as to bring in Ellie? No, Jerry wouldn't, but Andre did.

Line of the night courtesy of Andre(Moment of the night was the door behind the door though):

I know everyone else was hoping for it to come back, but I wanted it stay gone just a litlte longer. Now I'm never going to catch up and get on track for the reviews! I will blame Mad Men for this, dumb dumb Mad Men, dumb dumb….

I don't know, seems like having the government plan 9/11 would make the situation worse, not better.

Yeah, he could be one of those dudebros that finds girl on girl to be hot, but is all: being gay is a sin, when the subject of gay marriage comes up.

I liked season 1, LOVED season 2, and was meh on season 3. Then when season 4 came around I got really fed up even more when it felt like Sutter was pulling punches(Juice's suicide failing, CIA, clay staying alive), it actually stopped me from watching the show. But while season 4 frustrated me, season 3 was worse by

I was like you once. A person who just saw Mad Men and was like, ehhh it is made competently, but what is all the fuss about? Oh, how naive I was. I tried to get into Mad Men, but the first few episodes didn't grab me. This year I decided to pick it back up, to hopefully catch up for the final season. I was completely

"It's like wiping peanut butter out of a shag carpet".

@avclub-618fd0370047b25592c8a7db0ff8a9c0:disqus A big high five for the National Treasure films! I love those movies so much. Yeah it isn't going for the oscar or anything, but it sure is a fun adventure film, and throwing in stuff about history(even if it isn't accurate) is awesome! Also makes me pissed at the

If I can find Lone Gunman, I would do it, and as far as Millennium goes…. a crossover isn't enough to truly connect it and make it feel essential, but if I heard enough good stuff about it, then I would check it out.

The only John Woo films I've seen are Face/Off and Mission Impossible 2. He's supposed to be a good director, right?

As much as I love Buffy, I'm not going to lie. The first season kinda sucks. It doesn't really hold up. Plus, there is no Spike or Oz, and the characters of Angel/Willow are not close to what they would really become.
