I would still rather watch Always than many other Spielberg films, including ET and some of his other blockbusters and most of his films after Saving Private Ryan.

This isn't an ensemble show and already has a female lead.
Deschanel will be gone six episodes. Fox will be in five episodes.
Those silver grenades would have been handy in season 1.
Maybe demand for cocaine in US military hospitals overseas had caused a domestic shortage.
Tom Waits beats both rules.
I don't know if there's much difference between a reader "expecting" a grade and being surprised when a critic dislikes something you thought was good and expressing that in a common shorthand language (grades). I think a lot of people (myself included) either like or don't like something and can't really get into…
Of all the shows on this list, it's the cancellation of Happy Endings that hurts the most. Some of the great shows on this list - Fringe, Enlightened, Breaking Bad - were at least given somewhat satisfying conclusions. And others like Bitch 23 and Bunheads just didn't last long enough. Here's a Happy Endings Where…
I'll miss Nikita. I don't feel the show ever made up for the loss of Xander Berkeley as the lead villain - Percy was diabolical, Amanda was just psychotic. Also putting the "good guys" in charge of Division for season 3 never really worked out, too much time was spent bickering about how to proceed with Division's…
I've never cared for McGinley's shtick (small doses only, please), so I have to fight through that to find something else to like about this show, and that has turned out to be Rory Scovel and Briga Heelan. I'll keep watching just for them.
Except for the Kimye and Scrooge sketches, I loved this episode. Kimye should be retired and the Scrooge sketch was embarrassingly bad, worthy of docking the episode a full letter grade. Too bad, it looks like they put a lot of effort into it.
Don't dismiss the 3 disc "The Capitol Years" anthology released in 1990 as being full of threadbare hits. It collects the best singles and album tracks from that period, leaving out the many lesser singles and B-sides that were included in the "Complete Capitol Singles" box. Also "The Capitol Years" doesn't have the…
There were some really good performances and sketch ideas in this episode, but none of it was very funny. The Wes Anderson spoof was very well done, but didn't get any laughs from me. I thought McKinnon was great in the opener, Pedrad was really funny in the van sketch, and Norton was great in the last sketch.
Can't get into this cover - Gates of Steel shouldn't be slowed down. Yo La Tengo knows how to treat this song right.
At this point it's more of a clone of Blair Witch Project than Lost. It's essentially a documentary crew that gets stuck in the wilderness surrounded by some horrible unknown. Even two set ups - scary noises coming from all around at night, and a dropped sideways camera rolling while screaming is heard off-frame -…
This show has kind of lost its edge from season 1. The central relationship between Tessa and George has almost completely disappeared (once again, this was an episode that did not have a single scene with them together) and been replaced by dull standard sitcom dating plots. The show cashed in its George and Dallas…
Thought this episode was horrible. Didn't think Foxx contributed anything at all, except I found the Ding Dong costume pretty amusing. The best skits were the ones with little Foxx contribution: Maine Justice, Swarovski, and Dylan/Dermot. The Tyler Perry spoof was unwatchable.

Kathleen Rose Perkins is awesome. And season 2 does get better.
