He was at 267, but still. Why on earth would you concede before 270 is called for your opponent? No reasonable person could take issue with that. Might be a longshot, but still. 267 ain't 270.

It's not legally binding, it just *looks* bad. I remember Al Gore retracted his concession to Bush on election night (awkward) but, I mean, that was sort of justified given how close it was.

Not sure I could fault Selina for turning down the opportunity to be Hugh Laurie's Veep. It would seem like sore loserdom, but if you think about it, it really isn't. I mean, who wants to have the dubious distinction of being the first Vice President to serve under two different Presidents? *And* to go from President

For some reason I thought he was Alan Thicke at first.

If I don't have Lifetime, any way besides piracy to watch this?

I feel like he's been raiding my iPod. Especially with last season's Ratatat remix of Party and Bullshit! Not that it's super obscure, but now it seems even more…mainstream.

He knows about amyl nitrate because he fucks. Russ Hanneman knew this.

It's a shame about the concentration camp connection. "Work will set you free" is a nice enough sentiment in the abstract (not one I agree with, but defensible). Shame about the connotation.

So true. The bar is really oversold. It mostly tests your ability to punish yourself and learn some useless crap. And how to take a test.

Yeah. This is also how Barbri manages to make money charging more than every other bar review course (if your firm is paying, fuck it, get Barbri, if it's out of your pocket, no). It's also Barbri's MO-scare the shit out of you.

I completely agree. Tomorrow Never Dies I have a soft spot for, since it's the first one I ever saw (it might've been GoldenEye, can't remember). But Dalton deserved a lot better. He got a really ignominious end.

Although the entire series seems like it's been pretty hit or miss. When it's good, it's really good. When it's bad…wow. Which is why I don't support the people calling for Idris Elba to be the next Bond. I thought Skyfall was pretty great, but in general, it seems like the series tends towards uninspired, and an

Pierce Brosnan was far from the worst Bond (Roger Moore would be my choice, and it's not even close), although I thought he was pretty uninspired in the role. Though it is hard to rank them since all the actors did not get equally good vehicles to show their potential, so it's sometimes hard to say whether a Bond

Maybe Russ Hanneman was right after all. This guy fucks.

Not only that, but Nickelodeon aired reruns of SYS for *years*. For at least the rest of the 90s, and I'm not sure how much longer. A lot of the live-action shows I remember seeing and hearing about on Nickelodeon in the late 90s were actually just reruns of shows from the early 90s (and I didn't even realize it).

I hope you never fart, now get it right or pay the price.

Pull out your pants pockets. All kids in the future wear their pants inside out.

It takes a while to develop new material though. Louis CK's material turnover is lightning fast for a comedian. In a lot of cases it can be a couple of years. So if I've heard a bootleg from the beginning of someone's tour, why am I going to see them in person that same year for 90% or more the same material? Bands
