I gotta say though, I do feel bad for Danny even though he's a manipulative shit. It's obvious that the father blames him for Sarah's death, and it's obvious that Danny knows and resents this. So he's a toxic person, sure, but who helped make him toxic? Is it all Danny's fault? Did his family members (especially the

So Danny is definitely a manipulator. But goddammit if I don't have a lot of sympathy for him. It's obvious to me (unless I'm misreading) that the father blames Danny for Sarah's death. That's a lot of baggage to carry from an early age (he can't be more than what, 13 or 14 in those brief flashbacks?). That, coupled

It gives GRRM a chance to experiment with maybe a slightly different ending if people aren't receptive to the one on TV. Who says he can't change his mind and has to make his book ending exactly the same?

Mendelsohn really sucks all the air out of the room. I almost don't give a shit about anyone else, he's so good. And he's sharing screentime with some incredible actors.

She shouldn't be doing the will in the first place, since she is one of the beneficiaries. It's cool to let your family member do some basic legal work to help them get on their feet, but I would never go to a family member for estate planning.

Google "Christ of the Abyss." I'd link you but I'd have to google it myself and that shit creeps me out.

Recognized the Keys right away before I knew anything else about this show (I know my home state, not that it's that hard). Glad to hear it isn't a train wreck like a certain other Netflix show.

Dong was funny in his relatively small doses, but I don't really see what else they can milk out of his character. They found a good, natural endpoint for him, and now they can move on. I will be hella bored if they show me more Dong.

Tim Blake Nelson has always given me the heebie jeebies. I can't watch any scenes he's in.

Has Tom Kenny done any live action since Mr. Show?

He got 3 Emmy nominations for his guest appearances on 30 Rock. I can see another one for this.

I wouldn't be surprised if he got another Guest Actor in a Comedy nom for Kimmy Schmidt.

"But it wins because it always wins"

Yeah. Remember that Sopranos episode from the 6th season, Soprano Home Movies? Easily one of the top 5 episodes of the entire series?

I want Rhys to get a nomination, knock Spacey off the list (great actor, but garbage show and scenery chewing performance)

And to people who say that Mad Men has lost its way, I give them "In Care Of," a late series masterpiece. Some of Jon Hamm's finest acting on the show.

I can't believe he lost to Kyle Chandler and Jeff Daniels. No one can complain about losing to Bryan Cranston though (although I think his performances in the years he was nominated were just as good as Cranston's).

It's one thing to lose to Bryan Cranston, it's quite another to lose to Kyle Chandler and Jeff Daniels. Especially the year he lost to Jeff Daniels (who is otherwise a good actor, but The Newsroom was garbage, and his performance nothing special). That episode "In Care Of," my god, Hamm's performance damn near had me

I'll put Rhys and Russell (but especially Rhys) up against *any* Emmy nominees the past decade. Even if you don't think the show is good, you cannot in good faith argue against Rhys being a phenomenal actor. He deserves to be considered in the same league as Hamm (who deserves a win) and Cranston.

The show is just so goddamned dense. Of all the shows I watch, only Game of Thrones is harder to keep track of. I started watching this season, and realized I had almost completely forgotten what happened in the first two seasons.
