So true. The first book came out when I was in third grade and I love the books to this day.

Your Party is how I got my girlfriend into Ween. She loves it.
Marble Tulip Juicy Tree and Squelch the Weasel are other fantastic songs from GWS that got even better with live versions.
I recently found a place in DC that does pork roll egg and cheese and I was so damn giddy. I was smiling like an idiot and all the assholes in the deli were just giving me tired, bored looks.
What the fuck? Pure Guava has Little Birdy, Tender Situation, Stallion Part 3, Sarah, and poopship
I am a Swanson through and through. Nothing I love more than brinner. My perfect day begins with a Denver omelette or eggs over medium, cheesy grits, home fries, bacon or sausage, sourdough with lots of butter. And maybe some pancakes. Breakfast fucking rules.
Eh he's not a piece of shit for keeping Don. Deserting ain't exactly noble, but they need jobs too. And he's good
I think you missed my point. I think it's relevant but people seemed to have moved on to newer shows.
Obviously I'm not claiming to know the future. But the show is really past its cultural relevancy. I mean, it's still great, but no one I know seems to talk about it anymore. It hasn't won any Emmys in a few years I don't think.
But he still won it instead of Jon Hamm, and that's what matters. I watched all the shows and episodes nominated. Jon Hamm blew everyone else out of the water. It's a crime that no individual actor on Mad Men is going to get recognized.
Call me when Richard Schiff and Bradley Whitford join the cast.
Is he sorry that Jeff Daniels took Jon Hamm's Emmy? His performance in "In Care Of" blew everyone else's out of the water. It was at least as good as anything Cranston ever did on Breaking Bad (and I love Cranston and thought he was phenomenal as Walter White).
Also-Todd really is the stealth winner of this site losing all its best writers to The Dissolve. He's reviewing the three main shows I keep up with weekly-The Americans, Game of Thrones (expert), and Mad Men
I'm not sure if this website lost all of its editors to the dissolve as well but…Todd needs one. He rambles.
Damn. I was floored. I enjoyed season six well enough (and Ted is one of my new favorites now, and Cutler is a trip) but it didn't wow me. But damn. This is the first time in a long time I rewatched an episode of Mad Men (or any show) as soon as I finished it. Time will tell, but this is now one of my favorite…
I mean, we are talking about the dudes who adapted ASOIAF. The easy and obvious answer is they're fucking neckbeards
Breaking Bad: 2008-2013
Mad Men: 2007-2015
I watched the first season of TWD but I just got bored of it after that. There's a veneer of plot on that show but it's just the same shit over and over.
Yeah, that's it. If I recall correctly, Mad Men began with a lot of buzz, and within the first few seasons Jon Hamm was all over SNL doing Don Draper parodies, and then it just sort of fizzled out.
I used to watch Mad Men out of my interest in that period of American history. Then sort of cultural obligation when I got bored. And now that I finally caught up to season 6, I find it more rewarding and rewatchable than Breaking Bad. A few years ago, I never thought I'd say that.
