No Spanish-language show on the list? Seriously?

Yeah but in the books I appreciated the irony of Bolton saying that Jaime Lannister sends his regards. I don't think it would work as well on the show.

I like the fact that the ostensible good guys are not all that good or interesting. Always rooted for the bad guy as a kid, always liked complex characters.

@Dikachu:disqus No one will ever trust the Freys again? Maybe. But I think you overstate the point. This sort of thing is hardly unprecedented. Tywin betrayed Aerys, and he did just fine until something something Tyrion crossbow.

@gloriana232:disqus Maybe there's a distinction in our modern eyes. But in the world of Westeros, I'm not sure I've seen any indication that people see those distinctions. Robb willfully broke an oath, period.

Yeah I used to hate Jaime but he's been pretty solidly redeemed in my eyes. Sure, he still pushed Bran off the tower and fucked his sister and other stuff. But people are complex.

Man, reading the newbies review/comments is amazing. I'm glad I read the book instead of getting blindsided by this episode.

You DONKEY

Until the most recent one, I always thought this was the weakest in the series, and I say that as a fan of Robert Patrick. It's 1, 3, 4, 2, 5 for me. I thought 3 was more fun than 1, but 1 still holds the top spot.

I thought Wiig was a great young Lucille! And young Barry was inspired.

THERE'S NO J WALTER WEATHERMAN

@battybrain:disqus nah man, figurative and literally isn't some piddly kiddie shit. Let's not be reverse snobbing here.

Is there something special about dick blood? I mean why put a leech there? Why?

10th season != 10th year

10th season != 10th year

I don't know what that means, play us out. I've never seen that before.

I'm going to shit up this old thread by saying that I actually love these sort small, slice of life comments.

Nah man, Jaime's my favorite character now.

Obviously Grisham can't hold a candle to Lee, but he's written some pretty good stuff. As far as genre writers go at least. I definitely think King has just a *little* more range than Grisham, and is a little better overall, but at the same time Grisham's no Brown/Patterson/Coben. A Time to Kill, The Client, The
