Me. But not only because of this scene, it has been coming for a while (since the end of season 4, at least.)
Me. But not only because of this scene, it has been coming for a while (since the end of season 4, at least.)
The whole storyline is idiotic and should not be in the show. Of course we saw this coming, I hoped they not go there but they did. So they made two characters idiots, ruined large parts of Sansa's best storylines in the books just to include the worst part of a different storyline mostly concerned with a tertiary…
Seems to be the way they "write".
They have been squandering the characters of Tyrion, Arya and Sansa for the last 1 and a half season. Never sacrifice "plot" development for characters. The books at least manages to keep characters consistent, and not twist them to be able to show some more rape scenes.
This is it for me.
What?
40k is much more expensive. You can fly X-wing with like 3 ships….
But nothing in the real world changes based on your choices to the degree you want. Lee is no mind-controller, it would be really weird if everthing in the game hinged on his choices. What I really enjoyed about TWD was that the characters were people, with actual motivations, and they didn't care what I wanted as a…
Agreed. In fact, having the adults be mostly antagonists would have been a better choice. Leave her with Christa in the beginning, play out that relationship more, then put her on her own. Make her a mini-Jane, that would make things ring more true too, as the adults she did meet would be a little scared of her. A…
Well, the lawsuit was lost, it does not mean it was baseless. It seems, from the court case, that there definitively issues and some discrimination going on, but that there were no definite proof of this exact allegation. These things are hard to prove in the court of law, that does not mean nothing happened. It…
What, no Walking Dead?
The ending song of season 1 (by Alela Diane) was amazing, thoug the end kind of stunned you so much that you can't really move before the credits are over anyway. https://www.youtube.com/wat….
Considering what an ass Lot was, his wife was likely better of as a pillar of salt. After all, he did get her daugthers raped just days before. But at least he wasn't into butt-stuff, am I right? Gret job, god.
I am calling Barriss as well, to make her a clear opposite of Ashoka. She is a cool character and her arc ended very abruptly. Seeing as she was very much fed up with the Republic at the end of CW, it would be easy to imagine her being mainpulated into becoming an Inquisitor. It is also much more fun with a slightly…
I still dislike it for those guys too, I think honorary doctrates in general are shitty things. People aren't made honorary MDs or honorary pop musicans, why should they be given honorary doctorates? It does devalue the degree, many people don't know the difference and makes it seem like it is something you can just…
Looks are not important? That sentiment always annoys me:
A doctorate is not a "smart-guy" award. Doing a doctorate is a full time job and a lot of work, large parts of it unpayed, one of the more grueling processes one can put ones mind to in fact.
It is kind of devaluing that work to give a degree to a guy that has not done that work, regardless of his other…
You don't know that, the bear might be into D/s. My guess is that Putin is the Sub, it is the classic "powerful man gives up power in the bedroom" trope.
I really liked her in 24, weirldy enough since by seaosn 4 I disliked the show. Really enjoyed her matter of fact disposal of her accomplice in that show.
"You're saying one of us have to be caugth so the other can get away?!"
"Yes. It's gonna be you"- shoots him in the chest.
Yes, it is amazing how "like gods" they are treated, why the privilige of being yelled at by a rich white guy on a daily basis, barely having time to eat and not actually getting to do the educational part sure is great. Most students have more than enough to do just keeping up with their studies and part-time jobs to…
This smacks of nostalgia too me, in a similar vein as the proliferation of the novel as a popular medium was heralded as the decline of literature, or how TV would destroy film….and so on.
One of the main perks of being able to read Swedish is reading Ajvide Lindqvist in the original version. He is one of my top 3 horror writers, and Let The Right One In is not his best book. In many ways the movie (which he also adapted) is better.
