I thought the Miss Patti Pancakes stuff was some of the funniest of the show. The pure absurdity is only enhanced when the kids ask questions. "How is it a secret if you're telling us?" Because it's a game of course! I really want campers to be randomly discovering soiled undergarments randomly from here on out.

These are better than last years, though I am miffed that they ignored Jane the Virgin and especially Gina Rodriguez. She won the Golden Globe and not even a nomination for one of the best, most naturalistic performers on TV?

That's a very sophisticated "fake" trailer.

Spoilers maybe? Can't remember the episode.

I am not bothered with Riley even if she ends up not having any skills useful to the group (though I do think she could be the Angelika, potentially). It's realistic that in every group of 8 people you are going to have some diversity and that might include someone who doesn't have a lot of really great skills. I

I'm kind of curious about what they are going to do about Wolfgang storewide. I mean, what happens when one sensate is basically a sociopath? Just accept him as part of the group, use his sociopathy when its useful? Or do you become profoundly disturbed by the fact that you are telepathically linked to someone who

Oe 1980 cause that has an 8 in it.

But true German reunification didn't happen until late 1990. I also feel like they might be a bit younger kids more like late-elementary (10-11). East German immigration started in earnest in 1990 to 1992 so based on the scene, feel like they could be early 30s.

I think this episode actually gives a good clue as to the ages of the Sensates. It shows Felix and Wolfgang as children shortly after German reunification: Wolfgang is East German and gets bullied by West Germans as a result of emigrating to West Germany after reunification. German reunification happened in late 1990,

Ah..I remember most of these movies. It's amazing how quick the technology made these movies dated. I remember in Hackers, they were all impressed by I think it was a 26K modem.

Obvious typo…"And I Love Her" is what I meant. "Blue Jay Way" is a little Harrison song that appeared on the Magical Mystery Tour. It has this nice organ part that makes it sounds slightly psychedelic. It's very narcoleptic..in a good way.

Tomorrow Never Knows is amazing though…the way it combines pop sensibility with experimental flourishes…every modern indie band owes a debt of gratitude to this song.

A-And I Love Here
B-Blackbird/Blue Jay Way (both beautifully quiet bird songs)
C-Cry Baby Cry
D-Dear Prudence
E-Eleanor Rigby is undeniable but Everybody's Got Something To Hide But me and My Monkey is one of the best song titles ever.
F-For Your Blue-A lovely Harrison tune with a swinging lap guitar played by Lennon
G-Girl-

And even a reference to her "Toys R Us kids" commercial.

I just love when he took a stupid premise and went with it until it became so ridiculously funny. Spider men in Jamba Juice is a good example: https://youtu.be/2MKfYC4qlvo

Good point…I think Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Ellie Kemper in particular are certainly deserving. I still think Modern Family and Big Bang Theory just need to go away already. And I don't have HBO so I am not sure if this is true or not, but I've heard Silicon Valley has gone down in quality this year. Maybe

Good to know…the more nominations, the better. And who know we may have a "weird" Emmy year like 2013 when Merritt Weaver and Jeff Daniels won unexpectedly.

There is definitely going to be a hole, because OITNB was deemed a drama so won't be nominated in the Comedy category this year. I guess Girls might come back or Parks and Recreation in its final season. Personally, I think its time for Modern Family or Big Bang Theory to lose their nominations, but yeah the Emmys can

So what do you think the chances for Emmy nominations and even wins for this quite deserving series. Certainly nominations as Orange is the New Black is ineligible for the Best Comedy award by Jane the Virgin is and I can't think of another show that should take its place. Last year's winner was Modern Family and I

I once got free radio station tickets for Meyer Hawthorne, but I only went to see the opening band, the Swedish soul-dance band Quadron. I maybe would've stayed for Meyer Hawthorne, but I am a teacher and had to get up early the next morning.
