I remember hearing one of the Christmas records way, way back when (probably about the same time as Dennis, as we're about the same age, and seem to have gotten into the Beatles at about the same time).

I've never heard of any of these shows.

We have come up with two variations on Magic that are ideal for casual, laid-back social games. They can even be combined!

A Sweet Little Bullet From a Pretty Blue Gun - Tom Waits
Ring of Fire - Stan Ridgway
Miss Macbeth - Elvis Costello
Eyeball Kid - Tom Waits
St. Stephen - Grateful Dead

I got a bottle of 10 yr old Tawny Port from someone. Having never tried port before, I had some over the weekend.

Wasn't that two whole seasons of Friends?

I'm thinking more about flying some kites. I can just sit in the park, like a spider in its web.

I still get this one and Reality Bites conflated in my mind.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Last Boy Scout also have Christmas in L.A. background settings.

I had a clip of the audio from the mrhands video as the error message on my computer years ago, until my roommate begged me to change it before it gave him nightmares.

Just one of the many, many reasons I unable to fathom why ties are even considered acceptable attire, let alone required.

This should stand as an important lesson to all murderers and snipers out there. Don't get laid. As soon as you start getting some, you lose your edge.

Now mine is gone, so I'll try an extra post.

Your extra post to make the other posts appear is there.

Hey, I was eating Cherry Garcia while watching this too!

I saw Singing in the Rain last Christmas - watched it with my Mom. I'm not usually a big fan of musicals (nothing particularly wrong with the format, just the songs seem to be a tad syrupy or bland for me), but I really enjoyed Singing in the Rain. It was amazing how many songs I recognized besides the title track.

Oh no, now it looks like mine has disappeared too!

OK, so this appears to only track time travel when it intersects with Earth's timeline.

You'd think that now that we have a foot of snow on the ground, things would slow down here at work. But it's been crazy this week, and will be even more so next week - when I have three (!!) out of town meetings.

I have been wondering if they'd totally retconned that Jason is from the 21st century. The last several episodes, there's been nothing to hint that he even remembers such a thing. You'd think he'd at least be able to use some sort of modern knowledge on a regular basis.
