Fair enough.
Fair enough.
He wouldn't know, but one day he's going to find out. That's what makes it interesting.
One interesting thing that hangs over the entire plot line is that Stan doesn't seem to realize that Nina loved Oleg more than him.
You're not necessarily wrong about much of this, but as viewers do we want strict realism or do we want action? Take away all the events you listed and we'd have Seinfeld-as-spy-show. That is, a spy show about nothing.
Awesome comment. I made a similar point here earlier, albeit far less eloquently.
Agree. Her demeanor in the dinner scene was an obvious attempt to dial down the tension and show Clark that everything's cool. It's interesting to contrast his handling of the Martha situation with his attitude towards the old woman. He clearly wants to protect Martha for as long as possible, yet he was…
Pardon.
Stan & Oleg: The wackiest comedy duo since Stan & Ollie.
You got married and you changed your first name?!?!? HEEEEEEYYYY!!!
That's a good one. My personal favorite is the solo at the end of "Sway" (LP version, although I actually don't think there are any other versions out there with Taylor playing).
I think Philip crossed a minor Rubicon tonight, but I also think he's so valuable as an operative that it would take an awful lot, more than just some defiant words, for him to become a true liability. I was hoping for something similar from Stan at that moment, based on the absurdity of their situation, but it never happened.
You are the HEIR APPARENT to Gigolo House!!
Gotta give Jidge S'n Geeglin an honorable mention.
Also, DGT wasn't a one-off.
The European lighting a cigarette is up there on my list.
Actually, his dad's a billionaire, so he's doing just fine without our help.
I'm in the US also and we had a cafetorium too. It was also the gymnasium, but I guess cafitornasium would've been a bit much. Funny thing is, I seem to recall the faculty just calling it the "multi-purpose room."
How about just 100 minutes of Kevin Hart doing his James Brown impersonation?
let's play a quick game. you tell me what you think is the best mick taylor solo on a stones song (live or otherwise) and i'll tell you if we just became best friends.
