Fair enough. But just once I'd like the "hater" to attempt to take down a song on primarily musical/lyrical terms, rather than getting into fashion, politics, videos, etc. Admittedly, it would be more challenging, but that's why it would be better in my opinion (if done well).
True, but then there's that long paragraph where she's commenting on the video while she's watching it. Point being, the "hate" almost always ends up being directed towards the visuals or the personalities of the band members, rather than towards the music.

Ann Wilson would give her a run for her money.
She's a little like Bono to me in that, while I can readily acknowledge she has a strong, pleasing voice, I've never found her music compelling enough to get into.
