It seems like your interpretation requires willfully ignoring some very obvious inferences. Put another way, when you feel, as Braunger does, that someone is in the wrong, it follows that you would like them to feel guilty about it. His primary complaint about LZ is that they don't feel guilty enough to acknowledge,

Thank you. This is what I was hoping someone would say.

1) Here's what he said:

That's the tenor of the entire piece. In other words, in this guy's opinion, LZ are a bunch of unrepentant thieves that ought to feel guilty for their "crimes."

If he hates the LZ airplane photo so much, why did he rip it off with the promo shot used here?

This show sounds really interesting, but I'm not sure I'd be able to watch it since I didn't watch Breaking Bad. It seems closely tied to BB rather than being a largely independent spinoff. I wish that topic had been addressed.

Minister of Railways = free round-trip train ticket to Siberia

On the other hand, an American-born spy wouldn't have to be nearly as good at deception as a Russian transplant with a totally fabricated back story. That advantage, coupled with her parents' close tutelage in the art of espionage, could outweigh the issues you mentioned.

upvoted for Hays office reference

Thank you for mentioning this because I didn't notice (due to the fact that I had to avert my eyes for the entire sequence).

An emphasis being placed on cleverness and subtlety rather than prominence? Who are the ad wizards that came up with that one?!?!

It took me longer than it should have to realize the Cyrillic words were the actors' names.

Agree. I've seen Executive Decision.

I often think about the fully-prepared-for-every-possible-contingency thing while watching this show. Not just always having all the right gear at the right time, but also always knowing exactly how to do everything that needs to be done. Being instructed years earlier on what to do in a given scenario is one thing;

Good point. It's easy to forget that cameras actually used to have moving mechanical parts.

"They appear doing more activities as mother and daughter this season…"

"How does it work, Q?'

I inferred that from the seedy location. And the fact that he parked at the other end of a weird alley to avoid parking in front of the shop. Also, his recent troubles with the ladies.

Yeah, the CIA dudes definitely would have spotted him taking those photos in the bar. Not sure why the button needed to be depressed like three inches to snap a photo.

The real reason he went to the house was to swipe the answering machine cassette.
