Rachel Dratch seems to be exceedingly normal.

That all depends on whether or not you purchase this album. His fate is in your hands.

Just buy the damn album, would ya? He’s an old man and he should be lauded
simply for daring to create!

I got the impression that Swordless Mimetown was inspired by Boardwalk Empire's Valentin Narcisse.

I've expressed criticisms regarding Esposito's shortcomings as a writer on a couple occasions. In doing so, I've tried to provide some rationale for my opinions, rather than just saying "this sucks" or whatever. Sometimes I've received legitimate responses and other times hostile ones, so it really doesn't matter how

"I find these questions to be a tad…elementary."

Well, I would like to think he's trying to make point that goes beyond his own contract. I believe the constant barrage of inane coverage of every conceivable topic truly is a detriment to society at large. So I appreciate anything that shines a light on that issue.

Use this as an opportunity to make up a funny alternate version of the name, like "Sizable Gent" or "Enlarged Individual."

cappadocius is right. something's definitely not all there with doctor unknown.

I upvoted that because you simply have to be joking (like I was).

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not.

Joke's on him. Some sports don't even use a ball.

Why don't you zip it and go back to…uhhh…wherever it is they give out names like Razylym Maugh?!?!

What Toasterlad said. Most of us don't have even a fraction of the leverage at our jobs that Lynch has at his.

He has paid significant fines already though. And you can't begrudge the guy for trying to avoid paying even more of them, while still maintaining his stance.

Yes, he has technically been in breach of a portion of his contract, but in the bigger picture this is a power play and he's winning, for the reasons I gave. As I said, he was not in an equal bargaining position when he agreed to the portion of the contract he is rebelling against. So, this is his only recourse.

Lynch's contract is under the umbrella of the CBA. The league's authority to fine him is derived from the CBA. He's paid the fines while still maintaining his stance regarding the contractual obligations he disagrees with. Lynch, as an individual member of a large union, probably did not have any leverage to

Disagree. I think he's making a statement about that very obligation, which he obviously feels should not be part of his responsibilities as an athlete. He's paying a price, but it's obviously worth it to him to make his point.

The stuff about Lynch is right on the money. Forcing these guys to waste their time giving stock answers does nothing increase interest in the sport or bolster the league's revenue. And frankly, what Lynch is doing has meaning well beyond the sport of football. The stand he's taking is important.

Read that whole thing in anticipation of a payoff that never came.
