Hannibal has shown his loathsome colors, killing, deceiving, and manipulating everyone in his life.

I have a mental image of the two of them walking into Cracker Barrel late at night, a disheveled, unstable-looking man next to the high-cheekboned embodiment of sophistication. One waitress would whisper to another, "This is why I hate the night shift."

Oh God, yes.

I definitely picked up on some romantic tension between them. It will be interesting to see if the two become romantically involved.

Will has fugue states and seizures, during which he loses awareness of his surroundings. Hannibal may have murdered and mutilated Abigail, then gone to the cabin and made Will swallow the ear. Since Abigail told Hannibal that she left Will at the cabin, Hannibal would have known where to find him.

I'm convinced that Du Maurier knows more about Hannibal's proclivities than she lets on. Perhaps she has some secrets or, dare I say, proclivities herself?

And veal calves being older than pigs brought to slaughter. Yikes.

Miklkelsen's cheekbones are the reason I watch this show!

I would have chuckled if Hannibal had demonstrated a "derangement of the tear duct"!

I respectfully disagree. I think that while he liked Abigail and Will, he felt no remorse over harming them. Hannibal is a sociopath, after all.

I always saw his displays of affection and support for Abigail as a massive game. He may have liked her, but he never truly cared about her, and his displays of caring were fake.

I agree. Hannibal is incapable of many normal human emotions, so it was fake.

And the restaurant would be named "To Serve Man"!

Really? I can totally imagine Hannibal as a home-canner, preparing exotic pickled creations. He probably has several mason jars of pickled fennel and Abig—I mean veal in his basement.

Great observation. His newfound clarity will be his most formitable weapon in season 2.

I can't wait to see how Will will get out of his predicament in season 2. I want to see Hannibal go down!

Why exactly was she hostile toward Jack? Did she dislike the scrutiny into her patient and colleague? Is she just passive aggressive by nature?

No, but I did check my kitchen for a creepy guy with high cheekbones.

As was her charred, blackened corpse afterwards. What a horrible way to die.
