o_O !!!

@avclub-0dcb947006a5907469fe111d7d070e29:disqus — I'm picturing Miriam with a big, hairy man's arm now.

For that matter, why was Georgia alone when Hannibal slipped her the comb? Wouldn't a burn victim inside a potentially dangerous piece of medical equipment be supervised?

No … I … shouldn't … be … laughing … at … that … mental … image … BUT I CAN'T HELP IT!

@avclub-5a0df9912d0e408728e09ee62f8fee7c:disqus — As a fan of both Hannibal and Justified, thank you for the reference!

I can definitely see Hannibal Lecter as a great physical lover. He's sensual, he knows how to savor pleasures and take his time, and his Mads Mikkelsen incarnation is attractive.

@avclub-5a0df9912d0e408728e09ee62f8fee7c:disqus  — I wouldn't want Mikkelsen to wear the Doctor Doom mask all the time, or else we'd never see his gorgeous cheekbones.

Super-sane? The man kills people and EATS THEM as a hobby.

Or use her feet.

NO. Hannibal is too refined for that. He'd marinate the hair, simmer it in a savory broth, and pair it with a crisp, dry white wine.

I need to confess something. I watch the show not for the characterization, plot, or surreal imagery, but … for Mads Mikkelsen's cheekbones. My God, I love staring at that man's cheekbones.

If it's of any consolation, she might come back in dreams and hallucinations like Hobbs.

I got that implication too. Part of me is shipping Hannibal and Du Maurier, and another part worries for her, given that Hannibal is manipulating her. People who get close to Hannibal tend to end up deranged or dead, so her proximity to Hannibal could spell trouble down the pike.

I'm ashamed to admit this, but … I'm secretly shipping Hannibal and Bedelia too.

What was going on with Gillian Anderson's accent? Her lines about "an agent of friendship for a man disconnected from the concept" were pronounced strangely.

I can't wait for the fallout when everyone realizes that Will was right all along, and that Hannibal is a monster.

Hannibal is a textbook sociopath in that respect. He can read people impeccably, but he can't understand them.

Homo sum, humani nihil a me alienum puto = "I am a man; nothing human is strange to me."

I never saw Hannibal as sympathetic, given that he makes a hobby out of killing innocent people and manipulating everyone around him. That level of evil can't be overshadowed by his other positive qualities. Hannibal is fascinating and deliciously twisted, but never sympathetic in my eyes.

That was exactly what he did with Dr. Du Marier. He referred an unstable patient to her, and when the patient attacked her, it's strongly implied that Hannibal killed him by making him swallow his tongue. If he could do so with her, it's plausible that he could do so with Will. However, I think he wants Will to take
