Agreed! Cassie is not only savvy, but angry now over the loss of her brother. I have a feeling that she is more than she appears.

As we've seen with other characters (Ellen May, Coover, Quarles), drug use = violent, unpredictable behavior. I wonder if drugs will make Colt unstable and cause trouble for Boyd's criminal organization?
Me too. I wanted to believe that a decent (albeit eccentric) person could make a difference in Harlan County. It was a shame to know that he died.
I suspect that the Waldo Truth/Drew Thompson storyline will be fleshed out as the season progresses, with a returning role for the Tonin crime syndicate. And I wouldn't assume that we've seen the last of Cassie.
The "domesticating" line, combined with Joe Hoppus' love life, tells me that he doesn't think very highly of women. I for one was glad to see Raylan put the overmonied little jerk in his place.
I will resist the temptation to make a c***blocker joke about the roosters.
I respectfully disagree. I'd argue that Boyd is becoming increasingly malignant, even if his reach doesn't extend beyond Harland County. He recruited Colt, knowing exactly what kind of man Colt was. He brought an unmilked poisonous snake to Last Chance Salvation Church, knowing full well that Billy would probably pick…
Also, I want to find out what will happen to Ellen May. Will Boyd and Ava manipulate or force her back into prostitution? Or will she find the strength to escape them once and for all? Will her faith disintegrate after seeing Billy get bitten, or will she persevere?
I hope you're right and that Billy didn't get bitten in vain.
NO. JUST. NO.
They really need to give Rachel more character development. She has the potential to be a really interesting character, but she hadly gets any screen time.
This episode left me scratching my head about Theo Tonin. In season three, he was revolted years ago when he learned Quarles' father was pimping him out, so much that he arranged for Quarles to kill his own father. Tonin was also disturbed by Quarles proclivity for brutalizing rent boys. But he employs a man like…
Agreed. He was still breathing in the slaughterhouse scene at the end of season 3.
Maybe she married him young?
Side effects of Marshal Stiffy may include baldness, crankiness, and sudden cravings for hard liquor. Call your doctor immediately if you experience constant irritable snarking.
All this cattiness could create problems if they need to collaborate. I expect all of this jurisdiction friction to come back to bite them later, if they need to take down a bigger threat (i.e., the Tonins) together.
If Billy dies, though, Boyd will have a FURIOUS Cassie on his hands. She seems to be more than she appears, so I wouldn't make her angry.
Or a hornet's nest. I hate flying stinging insects more than snakes.
What a jerk! I'm sorry you had to put up with that guy.
Why does no one like Duffy clean-shaven? I'm loving his post-mustache appearance.
