Same. I didn't find the Pete Holmes self-deprecating stuff that funny but that was my first contact with his comedy.

To follow-up, there's definitely a joke (a pitch-black, burnt to a crisp joke) in there somewhere about the Jews being "the winners" of the Holocaust. Needs more work!

Despite not trying to be anti-Semitic, you were still pretty anti-Semitic. Incredibly anti-Semitic. Astoundingly anti-Semitic. My favorite part was when you said you weren't trying to be anti-Semitic and then followed up with some backhanded anti-Semitism.

I suspect both. No network would allow Boston bombing jokes the week of or after the incident. And despite Jeselnik's sociopathic persona, it's still a persona and I trust that he has some respect for everyone affected by the bombings. You gotta wait at least a month before cracking Chechen zingers and CNN one-liners.

A second season would probably have had 23 episodes and the central mystery would have been solved by around episode 8.

I do have a slight twinge of guilt for not buying it.

- Around the 16:40 mark, Betsy Brandt is talking about her character and Dean Norris appears to be wincing uncontrollably (bright lights?).

- Conan discusses having sympathy for Walt's character, even after everything that has transpired to date. Cranston's laugh at around the 8:20 mark strongly implies "Sympathy? You ain't seen nothing yet… bitch."

Stupid Weiner.

Does AMC sell Breaking Bags on its merch site?

It will be exactly that AN ENTIRE HOUR AFTER THE EPISODE AIRS. What? I only hope that Low Winter Sun is worth the wait. The trailer looks okay but I'm not entirely sure if it's the white guy or the black guy that's supposed to be Vic Mackey.

I burn holy books to signify the separation of Church and State. Am I a bad Jew?

AMC could do a show based on regular citizens who turn to a life of crime to make ends meet and support their family before they get gunned down by Mexican cartels and local crime syndicates.

They were a staple of the mid-00's (aughts!) and though I've never lost my appreciation it feels like my interest has waned in the wake of so many new artists out these days. "Youth Without Youth" is a decent song but it failed to motivate me into buying the latest album. For long time I was convinced Live It Out was

"Seven Nation Army" is a popular sports song form the same reasons "We Are the Champions" is a sports-tune: everyone, deep deep down in their soul/brain, is gay.

If you're not into it by season 3, it's not for you. I could say that things REALLY get going once you hit season 5 but that's ignoring the fact that the characters and stories aren't doing anything for you. The show generally works on the same premise: Vic/Strike Team digging themselves deeper and deeper until heads

Piss with a hint of banana and a blooming essence of vanilla?

Nowalk did muck up the details on that last scene. Vic threw his badge across the room and definitely did not pick it up before leaving the house. A couple of observations about these episodes:

It was indeed dire times for heavy music. I remember watching a Much Music show back in '95 that focused on mostly loud, mostly new music when the video for "7 Words" came on. To be honest, a lot of the show's content was total shit and I usually watched to make fun of bad songs and worse videos. There was something
