Daphne and Bay's conversation in the courtroom at the end was a little too on-the-nose but still a touching moment to end a 30 episode first season on… if only it was the final moment.  Instead, we get yet another soupy cliffhanger that came out of nowhere.  Oh, Switched at Birth, how you toy with me.
