I really would have liked to hear his second take on Blue Velvet as well.  He also recently suggested that he would have liked to give a second opinion on A Clockwork Orange and Straw Dogs as well, and I think the world of film criticism will now always be lacking without those.

I've loved movies for as long as I can remember, but I don't think I truly began to understand and appreciate what made great movies great (and shitty movies shitty) until I started reading his work.
