If I see anyone in tights, I'm gonna puke. No one wore tights in the 12th century.

I'd like to toss FDR's crutches (or wheelchair) at Herbert Hoover.

Black squirrels are the same species as the grey bastards—it's just a variant colour. We've got tons of 'em here in Toronto. 'Merkins always remark on them, just after they tell us how clean things are.

I've never been a huge video game player, although I played casually in the early days (yes, that means Space Invaders…I'm that damn old) and now play Rock Band or Guitar Hero occasionally (if I can play bass). However, oddly enough, I like *watching* some video games. My husband was storming the Reichstag on (I

AKA the Uniboob.

Columbus, OH has Rotolo's, one of those mom n' pop places that are raveworthy, plus Donato's (best chain pizza I know) and Wholly Joe's (Chicago-style pizza, not a chain).

Gabriel Hounds
Tasha, your reference to Heather Dale made my day. She's a good friend of mine; I was at the first concert she ever gave and it's great to see her getting noticed.

Canadian Coke has real sugar.

Cabana Chat. But only while they had the original Dexter and Pool Boy.

I just have stopped thinking of them as two different bands, so I don't have to prefer one over the other.

Any Joy Division once Peter Hook figured out how to play (and even before that, it has its charms), and any subsequent New Order. He's more or less responsible for their sound, especially after Barney started to sing.

I have a slightly different perspective on Control. Back when I first started listening to JD (and New Order, which I was more into at first) the reigning image of Curtis was that he was a nihilist and the suicide was a statement of sorts.

A dozen remixes? Shirley you jest. That's, like, sooo many!

Cacao content
I've had the 99% stuff and another brand that was promoted as 100% cacao.

Basically, Genesis was at its best through the 70s, whether it was Gabriel or Collins singing. I love the Gabriel stuff to pieces—it's got such a goofiness to it I find charming and somewhat Pythonesque. Once Gabriel left, the albums are still eccentric and somewhat experimental. My interest wanes after Abacab (1981)

I don't LARP.

Hey, I played my first RPG at age 39. While I had quite a few friends who were into D&D and its cousins in high school (although my specific crowd was much more into Squad Leader and other wargames of that type), I never played until recently.

In a Lonely Place
…by New Order. Actually a Joy Division song, one of the last two.

Wish he'd do more of it. He has a very distinctive sound.
