Yeah, physical copies of Earthbound are insanely pricy. Just grab an SNES emulator and the rom. Infinitely cheaper, and almost as rewarding!

Agreed. However, the font used for all the Mr. Saturn dialogue is all anyone should ever need. My ears cringe when they thing what a voice-acted Mr. Saturn would sound like. Sproing!

Finally watched the Mad Max trilogy. I had no idea that the first took place in a semi-civilized world, and I was floored by the second one. Pretty flawless picture, and surprisingly lean. Earthbound and Mother 3 are easily the most well-written games I've ever played. Most of the fun involves talking to every single NPC you come across, just to see what they've got to say. How many other games are there where talking to NPCs is actually rewarding?
