If anything, Daredevil is cribbing from the 1993 "Man Without Fear" 5-issue miniseries that Frank Miller wrote. Similarly, Batman Begins draws heavily from Miller's "Batman: Year One" which is probably why those two feel similar.

BitTorrent's been around since 2001, I think "born before the 80s" might be simplifying it a bit.

I think it's pretty clear that they saw my nostalgic blog post yesterday about the awesome mixtape someone from the Pavement mailing list made me back in the late 90s and were like "oh, hell, I guess we'd better reunite or something".

He also had that miniseries "Godhunter" a few years back where he went on a mission to hunt down Galactus. That was pretty good.

I saw them open for the Blues Explosion in what was apparently 1997. Best show I will ever see for five bucks.

LVL UP's "Hex" sounds like a Stray Slack-era "Summer Babe".

I wasn't crazy about the album before it, but Earth Rocker is my favorite album of theirs front-to-back since The Elephant Riders.
