I loved Jane as The Punisher. John Travolta was a crap villain, and the entire third act kind of blew, but most of the movie was pretty good IMO.

Or they came in the big cardboard boxes, which were kinda cool because they had the album art on them. I remember hanging the ones for Use Your Illusion I and II on my wall in junior high

"He's Fanty. You're Mingo."

Is this a thing like MTV2 where they're going to launch it "exclusively to play music videos" and then say "fuck it" two months in and start replaying old episodes of The Real World instead?

If only the other Republican congressmen had as much backbone.

Oh god, Dave Sim, he really went off the deep end there.

It was the basis for the whole original awesome trailer that got everyone excited about it, too. Instead we ended up with a toyetic movie mostly about a kid building robots, pod-racing, and Jar-Jar. Boooo.

The first Conjuring is certainly worthwhile. The second one is okay, I guess.

Equilibrium?

You picked a shitty time to have an expensive comic habit. The dark times of the awful end of the once-great Excalibur, the X-Treme X-Men, and Chuck Austen X-Men. It makes me glad I was a broke college student during that era.

He's generally a good host. Doug Loves Movies is still one of my favorites (although, like @midnight, the quality can vary widely depending on the guests).

Mann did a show with Ted Leo and James Urbaniak for a comedy fest here in Portland earlier this year, it was a good time.

He was great on Whose Line and when he shows up on Doug Loves Movies. You may be onto something with the game show format.

Also, it reminds me of Real Genius, which is a great movie.

I saw them play 4 or 5 years ago, they really do crush it live.

I drove by there with a friend on a road trip to Vegas a few years ago. My own picture of it is also right around dusk. Maybe that's the only time it actually appears, but either way it looks pretty creepy on the outside.

Everyone wanted to be Wonder Man!
