The whole scene with Jan was just bad.

I thought it was a good episode up until they brought back Jan. I don't know, everything with her just didn't work for me. Still, a solid episode all around … especially when the Office Girls were trying to teach Dwight how to sell to women - Nellie's whole bit about him being a killer was pretty flippin' funny.

It was a okay … but I didn't like it as a Thanksgiving episode. I'm really picky when it comes to holiday-themed episodes (specifically the major ones) and this one felt a bit flat. What I mean is that it could have taken place on any day in any month - it wasn't specifically geared toward Thanksgiving, even though…

I'm just glad he's still alive.

Wait until you see, as @avclub-d009e8b6ce98ad61a7b7a69cd1ad10d9:disqus mentioned, how bad Laurie Metcalf is in it with her awkward Texan accent…it's not good.

Yes. Roseanne was the 16th highest rated show in its second to last season … when it was still depicting the blue collar, life kind of sucks sometimes theme. Even in its final season, which was awful, the series was ranked 35th. Sure, both saw drops from when it was a top-three series throughout its run (and #1 during…

Because the Roseanne from real life is not the Roseanne from the TV show (at least until the later episodes, which we all just pretend didn't happen). The Roseanne in the TV series was human and a loving mother and wife who would do anything for her family … and I mean anything. She was imperfect, true, and loud, of…

I was with my dad when he died … in his hospital bed. It was tough because they took him off the machines and you just stand there waiting for the finality of it.

This is one of my favorite episodes because I think it perfectly sums up the experience of coping with the death of a loved one. It's chaos and emotional and yet, through it all, there are moments of humor … if you can get past the fighting. I'm guessing everyone has had that moment where siblings go after one another…

Oh and let me just say that I loved missing school as a kid solely so I could catch The Magic School Bus on our local PBS station. Ah, to be a child of the 90s again.
