The only scene I found myself laughing at was the cutaway to Meg's funeral and Peter just tossing her body into a recently dug grave.

That's exactly how I envisioned that episode ending.

Very true. Still, I would rather have it air before as opposed to after. By November 1st, I don't give two shits about Halloween (and it's my favorite holiday).

The Doug cast aged between their switch from Nick to Disney. He, and his friends, originally attended Bluffington Elementary, but when the 'New Doug' began, they had just started attending Beebe Bluff Middle School.

At least they're airing Halloween-themed episodes in October now. I remember when Treehouse of Horrors aired after Halloween. In November.

About time you guys reviewed this show. I don't know why … but I like it. Yes, it's dumb fun, but I got hooked the first season and haven't looked back.

Except she'd be in a position that no loser has really ever been in who tried to run again for president - you know, she was actually a winner. Being a winning vice president, IMO, would negate the loser tag, especially since it just came in the primary and not the general election.

Oddly, both examples you use were extremely close elections. Humphrey only lost to Nixon by literally less than a percentage point nationally (bigger in the electoral college, but much of that was because of extremely close results & George Wallace in the South). And Ford barely lost to Jimmy Carter, and nearly won

Yup. I've seen this recently during the AP/DOJ scandal where many believe the media can do no wrong and really don't have to answer to anyone. The media in this country is not good. It's not informative. It's entirely about being first and they'll do everything in their power to be first - even reporting on classified

Was Dan Quayle known for his schmoozing? Hell, he probably couldn't even spell it.

We get Jack in the Box commercials where I live … and we have no Jack in the Boxes.

Roseannne was great until the final season or so and then she lost it. But yeah, Dan was near-perfect.

I'd like a family that was more my personality and probably one that reminds me of my own family, so, I'd say probably the Conners. It was my life growing up. My parents weren't rich or even solid middle class, which meant, at times, we probably could be considered poor. My dad always held a job, but it wasn't a

John Goodman never won an Emmy for Roseanne, which might be one of the biggest snubs in Emmy history. The series was also never nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series, which boggles the mind since it was one of the most consistently popular comedy series on television in the 90s. I get there might have been other,

The Saga of Carl was a very well done episode all around. It might've been my favorite of the season. Dangers On A Train was okay, but not as solid as the Iceland episode … thinking maybe FOX should've flipped 'em and ended on a far stronger note.

To be fair, they were old when the last Anchorman was released too.

Not only that … but putting the movie in the 80s would certainly give it some new material to work with.

I have a love-hate thing with Roseanne's series finale.

I liked it … but anyone else think there were way too many commercials? It killed the flow a lot of the time.

I had the exact opposite problem Sue has had - I never went to school. My citizenship (directly tied to attendance and being on time to class) was absolutely abysmal. When I got my car, that only made the situation worse to the point where I was close to flunking out of high school. But then I got my shit together and
